General information, not advice
The Float publishes general information about running and financing a business. It is not legal, tax or financial advice, and it is not an offer of credit or of any financial product. Your situation, your contracts and your state’s law are specific to you. Talk to your own advisers before you act on anything you read here.
The two-minute check
Results from our check are estimates based on general rules of thumb. They are not offers, approvals or pre-qualifications, and they say nothing about rates, costs or amounts. Funding decisions and terms come only from a funder, after an application. Funding through our partner is not available in every state.
Accuracy
We work to keep our content accurate, current and sourced, and we correct errors when we find them. Even so, we make no warranty that any page or issue is complete, current or free of error, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we do not control those sites or their content.
Our relationship with eFin Cap
The Float is affiliated with eFin Cap, a direct funder, and earns a fee when readers are funded through it.
Links to eFin Cap on this site and in our issues are marked as such. Any application you make, and any agreement you enter, is between you and eFin Cap on its terms, not ours.
Using this site
You may read, link to and share our content for personal and business use, with credit to The Float. You may not republish whole issues or guides commercially, scrape the site, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
